Double-Sided Phuttha Sema Medal, Blackened Copper Alloy
Luang Phor Thuad – Phra Ajarn Thim
Phra Luang Phor Thuad Museum Edition, B.E. 2558 (2015)
Wat Chang Hai, Pattani Province
One of the most popular modern-era Sema medals, distinguished by its full Sema shape with an ornate kanok arch design in the classic Wat Chang Hai style, faithfully based on ancient prototypes. This special edition features a double-sided Buddhist Sema design: the obverse bears the portrait of Luang Phor Thuad – Phra Ajarn Thim, while the reverse depicts a stupa surrounded by sacred yantra inscriptions, sharply struck, elegant, and rich in Buddhist devotion.
This edition was created in B.E. 2558 (2015) to raise funds for the construction of the Luang Phor Thuad Museum at Wat Chang Hai. Produced in a limited quantity, it is highly sought after and well regarded in the amulet collecting market.
This piece is made of blackened copper alloy, with a crisp, deep strike and excellent overall condition—ideal for both veneration and collection.
Renowned virtues: protection, safety, avoidance of danger, enhancement of fortune, good luck, and great compassion.
