The sacred Luang Pu Thuat Sema Medal, Kathin 58 Edition, was created in B.E. 2558 (2015) by Luang Phor Krai of Wat Lamphaya, Yala Province, on the occasion of the annual Kathin ceremony. The purpose of the creation was to raise funds for the support and preservation of Buddhism and to be bestowed upon devotees who have faith in the lineage of Luang Pu Thuat.
The consecration ceremony was graciously presided over by Phor Than Phon of Wat Napradu, Pattani Province, a highly revered monk and a third-generation disciple of Luang Pu Thuat. His participation adds profound spiritual meaning and value to this edition, especially among followers of the southern Luang Pu Thuat lineage.
