Luang Phor Krai Commemorative Coin
Wat Lamphaya, Yala Province
Ecclesiastical Promotion Edition, B.E. 2558 (2015)
This commemorative coin was created in conjunction with the Kathina ceremony held on 14 November 2015, presided over by Phra Paisan Kunakorn, Abbot of Wat Lamphaya, to celebrate the auspicious occasion of an ecclesiastical promotion (dated 5 December 2003).
This edition is among the most popular amulets in Thailand’s southern border provinces. It features sharp, well-defined engraving, with a distinctive hallmark: the twin cat base, a signature symbol of Wat Lamphaya’s lineage, along with finely detailed sacred inscriptions encircling the coin.
The reverse displays the ecclesiastical promotion emblem and clearly inscribed ceremonial dates, making the amulet one with a clear origin, documented history, and easy verification—ideal for both collection and devotional use.
