Luang Phor Ngern Jirathammo’s Sema coin from Wat Prong Ngu, Phatthalung Province, was issued in B.E. 2556 (2013) and is one of the most popular collector editions from this temple, especially the “Elder Face” (Na Kae) design, which is the most sought-after type of this series.
The front of the coin features a detailed portrait of Luang Phor Ngern in the elderly facial style, with clearly defined eyes, facial features, and robe folds, giving a powerful and sacred appearance characteristic of Southern Thai master monks. The inscriptions of Luang Phor Ngern Jirathammo and the temple name are complete and clear.
The reverse side displays the official yantra of the series, symmetrically placed within the Sema-shaped frame, representing protection, loving-kindness, and stability. The temple name and year of issue are clearly engraved.
A key highlight of this piece is the engraved serial number “424” at the bottom of the coin, making it an individually numbered amulet, which adds collectible value and helps confirm its authenticity as a temple-issued piece.
The coin is made of oxidized copper. The surface has naturally darkened over time, developing an aged patina that gives it a sacred and attractive appearance, suitable both for wearing and for long-term collecting.
